As part of the Global IT Function, a primary mission of the HR Technology Team is to design, deliver
and support superior HR technology solutions that enable Human Resources to meet the Human
Capital needs of the company. This COE works closely with the other HR COEs, the HR Business
Partners and other Corporate Functions to give HR solutions that support Willis Towers Watson
Colleagues, Managers and Business Leaders so that they can focus their attention on serving our
The HR Technology Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Global HR Technology Team
to implement the vision and strategies for HR Systems. The Senior HR Systems Business Analyst
will partner with various IT and HR Managers to ensure that the unique needs of the regions are
accounted for and satisfactorily addressed. As needed, the Senior HR Systems Business Analyst will
collaborate with the HR Centres of Excellence, Subject Matter Experts, HR Business Analysts, HR
Business Partners and Advisors, the IT Team and vendors to support existing systems, implement
system enhancements and deploy new HR technology solutions and/or processes. The Senior HR
Systems Business Analyst will work with the HR Service Centres to ensure adequate support is
provided for HR transactional activities, reporting and analytics.
HRMS Solution Design to help develop business cases and supporting project documentation
for HR Technology or Operations initiatives within the regions. Works with the Global Director
- HRMS Solution Design and the HR Leadership Team to gain stakeholder support from the
HRMS Solution Design to support and Project Manage approved regional HR Technology
initiatives and ensures project goals and regular progress updates are communicated
appropriately to all stakeholders
Metrics - Develops appropriate HR Technology performance metrics so results can be
evaluated and improved
Reporting & Analytics - Support to design Global reporting and analytics requirements to
include those necessary to develop appropriate people scorecards, trend analysis, etc.
Works with the HRLT on regional reporting & analytics requirements to the extent they are not
met by Global solutions
Ensures HR Technology fully supports the business objectives of the HR organization and the
firm with specific emphasis on the core global operations. When necessary, works
collaboratively with IT to develop and maintain regional HR technology solutions that balance
cost efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborates with HR Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to define and implement global
and regional HR data standards.
Works with the Global Director - HRMS Solution Design on the development of robust HR
reporting and data analytics capabilities.
Responsible for own work stream, owning, managing, planning and reporting on activity
Ability to mentor and instruct junior analysts.
Ability to educate and train end-users on how to use the systems for which the
analyst has principle responsibility.
Basic understanding of budget control and how to affect cost controls
At least 4 years of experience delivering or supporting Oracle HR
Strong demonstrable knowledge of R12 Configuration Core HR, Self-service & Learning
Management Or HCM Fusion
Proven ability to work alone (self-starter) and with a virtual/remote team
Technical capability to understand what Custom (RICEF) objects are doing
Demonstrable knowledge of Functional and Technical Specifications (Oracle AIM
Ability to work with process owners, subject matter experts and IT counterparts to define
functional requirements and specifications for new technology solutions, applications, or
Demonstrable skills for complex Excel and sql Developer
Experience working with organisations comprised of diverse business groups including
those resulting from corporate/national cultures: i.e. those formed via global merger and
Experience with HR process re-engineering and operational design
Experience with HR shared services or HR service centre implementation and operation
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and Access
Experience in a consulting role
There will be a requirement to travel, from time to time, to various Towers Watson offices and
associated companies offices globally.
